Research

Need for entrepreneurial education in WA

Rigorous research demonstrating the need for entrepreneurial education in WA is the basis on which YEAWA has been established. The declaration of the Alice Springs (Mparntwe) Education Declaration document signed by all state and federal ministers for education in 2019 outlining aspirational education goals for all young Australians underpins our vision.

To develop confident and creative individuals who have developed, alongside their academic skills and knowledge, a set of capabilities that see them able to recognise, adapt to and manage change in a VUCA world (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) and to show initiative, to use their creative abilities and to be enterprising.
